Customer Reviews

Decent figure for the BlazBlue/Noel Fan on the cheap. The quality of the figure is decent for $25 I had paid. Apparently all figures made by Bandai-Tamashii do not bring a figure stand which is pretty dumb if I do say so myself. Luckily I had an extra Figma stand. Anyways, the figure I received had a bit of discoloration at the bottom of the blouse(or whatever), but nothing too extreme. The outfit and long hair are stiff, so certain poses are limited. One major dislike I had though is that the joints at the feet and hands are not ball and socket but rather swivel joints, which causes some awkward and hard positioning of the feet and hands. Overall, I still consider it a nice figure, but an extra purchase of a stand is necessary. 4Very happy with thisNoel is one of my favorite characters from BlazBlue so I was very happy to get this. I have no complants about this figure except that she doesn't come with a stand. She holds her guns well and does come with a stand to help support one. 5the wheel of fate is turningNoel Vermilion from D-arts is a fine figure. The joints work, and paint is excellent. Her accessories are small, but work fine. Here stand is a bit weird. It only works with one of the guns to do her fire pose, but do to her stand being light and her being heavy "no pun intended".the figure will eventually fall if not pose right. Last and minner type there are four small rings that not sure what is for, but you figure it out. Congrants. 4however everything inside is completely fine. Things attach well without feeling too tight or ...The box's outside was slightly rough, however everything inside is completely fine. Things attach well without feeling too tight or lose, has some flexibility with adjusting legs and hands. Can stand on its own as long as it's not using the gunfire shot from Bolverk, otherwise it needs slightly more adjusting or to use the stand included. 5The Successor of the Azure closes D-Arts wonderfullyD-Arts was the division of S.H. Figuarts that made video game figures, but since April of this year, Tamashii Nations and Bandai put the video game figures in with the standard Figuarts line, and this was the last figure released under the D-Arts name, based off of the highly popular character from the excellent BlazBlue fighting games. This figure is based off of her iconic NOL officer look from the first two BlazBlue games, Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift/II/EXTEND, rather than the new design from the most recent game, Chronophantasma, and it captures the look really well, from the beret to the sleeves to the red lines hanging off of her arms, which are separate when first opened, everything is well sculpted and painted excellently. There are some mold lines and marks here and there, but they're mostly ignorable, especially when displayed from a distance.Articulation is as excellent as usual. The design reminds me of a Figma due to having similar joints, but that's never a bad thing. The only problem is the way they handled the dress. Since they made it a soft plastic to try to allow the legs greater range, they are solid enough to disallow her to recreate her ducking pose from the game, but that's it.Compared to other releases like this, Noel doesn't come with a whole lot, so her box is flatter than usual, but she didn't need much to begin with. She only has four hands; two relaxed hands, and two gun holding hands for her signature weapons, the Nox Nyctores Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk, or just Bolverk. She also has a huge blast effect that is actually made of two parts for a reason I can't figure out, four clear cuffs to keep her hands from drooping while holding Bolverk with the blast effect, and a stand to keep Noel from falling over while holding the guns, which the figure is more than capable of doing on it's own, so it's kind of a waste and it should have been a normal stand like other figures of this style come with. Lastly is her longer hair piece for when she has her beret off, which is a separate piece from the head and hair, and three faces; one neutral, one mad, one shy and embarrassed, all of which are great and suit her character. As for negatives, She has no standout accessory like Vile's Bourbon or Revoltech Raiden's watermelon, the dress restricts some of the articulation, the red lines are solid plastic, so they can get in the way of your displays, and she doesn't come with a display stand, which is standard for Bandai's releases, but this is noteworthy, since she's so slim. A figure like Vile has feet so huge, he has no need for a stand, except for a specific pose. Noel is far more likely to fall over due to her small feet, but they're not too bad, as she can still stand on her own very well. While not a standout release in the line, Noel is still a great figure for those interested in having a figure of the popular BlazBlue character. I'm just waiting on a Hazama figure, and I'll be set. 5Great figureI was expecting a Blazblue figma or D-Arts for a long time and Noel happens to be my favorite character in the game. The weapon stand is pretty weird like most people already said and besides that there isn't a normal stand for the figure itself. But I managed to place mine without any help of a stand.Unless you really want yours to stretch her gun wielding arm then you won't even need that weird gun stand. The figure itself is awesome 5Great looking figure, but...First of all, the stand for this is completely useless. Buy another stand separately (I should really take another star away for this, but I'm not to upset about it since the overall quality is decent enough)This figure looks great, but it has very limited posing potential. Her skirt is extremely stiff, almost solid so her leg movement is restricted. I'm keeping her in the box until i can get a better stand. It would have been much better if her skirt were more flexible, but I can understand why it's made that way. Maybe if it came up just a tiny bit in the front for more leg room. 4Perfect.This figure is even better than advertised. Although it doesn't come with a stand for the figure itself, since the gun and the shot effect are a bit weighty, it does come with a stand to hold the gun up. The paint job is first class, and the joints are almost invisible and very flexible. Her dress is made of a rubbery plastic, allowing for better leg movement. The hat also stays on very tight, you can lift the figure by it and it will not pop off without a good push. Whether you're a fan of BlazBlue, or just D-Arts itself, this figure is a must buy. 5my 1st d-arts figureIt's not a good smile figma but she fits in with them like it doesn't even matter. I gave this one a shot because she wasn't too expensive and also three expressions to switch out. I had some trouble figuring out how to set her up like, when you switch the hair it's like taking the whole head unit off and I was pretty unsure about doing it but it got done. The guns are cool and the blast effect will weigh them down so it comes with a stand for that. When I took out the stand I couldn't figure out where it plugs in cuz I expected it to be like a figma so I was all trying to get it to hold her up by poking it up the skirt or trying to get her to lean on it. Of course the manual shows that it's for the gun but who reads those anyway. In the end it's a fine specimen for a first experience with the bandai figures. Also the hat comes off and you can put it on other ones for comedic effect. 5Niiiiiiice!I'm very impressed with this figure, I haven't owned anything like this before besides a few bootlegs. It's very detailed and has great articulation I just wish it came with a stand to hold the figure up. 5
