    5 Stars for my 5 year-oldMy 5 year old son loves the Brackitz set I got him for his birthday. There are so many different ways to put them together and he can spend hours playing with them. We have been looking for a good STEM toy and couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. If you are looking for a building toy that will keep your kid occupied and teach them skills to build, create, and imagine, buy Brackitz. I wish I could give more stars, but instead I will be buying more sets for my family and extended family. 5Creative, durable, and fun for everyoneBrackitz Inventor: 170 Piece Set - Imagination Set and Building STEM ToyBought it for the kiddos but it's fun for the whole family. Pieces are easy to handle and assemble and there really isn't one "right way" to put Brackitz together. Seems to be really durable. Excellent purchase and the 170 piece set comes with enough parts to split 2 ways if anyone is feeling selfish. 53-year old over the moon for BrackitzMy 3 year old son LOVES this set. His tiny hands can easily put together these pieces, and they quickly make big objects. His only other experience building things has been with Legos where it takes forever to build anything of size. Legos are also really hard for tiny hands to take apart and push together; the Brackitz easily slide into place. He loves to make airplanes. We made an airplane that will carry his other toys and he will fly them around the house all day, then he discovered he could build a rocket; he is over the moon about that (pun intended). Thank you for inventing such a great building toy for my little one. 5Excellent Toy for Stoking the ImaginationMy girls LOVE these building toys. They opened the box and instantly started building, without any need for instructions or a suggestion of what to build. Love the open ended play value. This is an actual quote from my 8 year old "Mom, I love it! You can build whatever you can imagine!" The bricks are simple and easy to assemble and can be put together in virtually any way. 5Outstanding product; huge play potential.No product is perfect but Brackitz comes really close. Let s discuss the good first. This is extremely high-quality design and manufacturing. There are no parts where there are issues with fit or finish and the pieces always fit together perfectly. Almost as important is the product just looks cool. Okay, so the product looks cool and is well made but so are Legos, why not just buy them? For me, the big difference between Brackitz and Lego s is the play pattern. When kids play with Legos they are building a model (FROM INSTRUCTIONS) which is great but with Brackitz they are using their mind. Brackitz compels the user to challenge their mind and be creative and not just follow a model. I suggest purchasing Brackitz and telling your child to make an airplane or a trebuchet ...anything as long as it challenges them to use their brain. Initially, it might be difficult for a child accustomed to the Lego paint by number system to grasp open-ended creative play but they will enjoy their creations so much more when they create them from scratch. Frankly, this product is necessary PRECISELY because Legos exist in the marketplace. Kids need to experience a new paradigm in construction play and Brackitz allows for that. As for the bad? They are addicting...you just might have to buy a lot of them. You have been warned. 5Hours of funI really like the Brackitz sets and this Inventor kit has a ton of pieces to make a lot of open-ended builds. I'm not so creative, but my son is and he has fun adding on from other sets (you don't need these, though) and expanding his builds. I teach first grade and this is a great tool to let the students be creative and build their own ideas . I can use this in our STEM activities and let the kids learn through trial and error. We aren't minimalists, but if a stuffed animal comes in, one goes out, and we keep his number of toys limited to two baskets that fit in his room. You might say, each toy has to earn its rent. Nothing blinks, chirps or requires batteries. "Screen time" is simply not an issue. With that I have to say we love this toy. We received it as a gift and made it available along side his inherited Legos and Lincoln Logs. Brackitz wins. I'm impressed by how it continues to serve as the framework to his imagination. I'd assumed he'd build static, structural features of towers, buildings, etc, but his first and continued creations have been animals, monsters, landscapes, things that spin, things in three dimensions. At three, I wasn't sure how well he'd be able to manipulate the fasteners, work in variable angles, but he clarified this in minutes with happily engaged efforts to solve and re-build. I should add he loves the clamor of dumping them out on a hardwood floor. One suggestion: it would be great if it came w/ a storage container. We've repurposed a big food storage bin, which works fine. 5
