    The Best Game I've Purchased in a Long Time!I saw this game on one of the morning shows and it looked very different from the boring messy games my children have. I'm so glad I purchased it as a gift for both my 6 and 4 year old girls! They love it and I love playing it with them. The game is good, too. The play is simple but age-appropriate and is reasonably fun for older adults and kids to join in. This probably wouldn't hold the interest of kids over, say, 8, since it's a spin-collect-build play process without a lot of strategy or skill involved. But the pieces are durable and well-made, per usual with the Ravensburger games, and it's nice to find something new to engage the younger set. My child noted that the game's colors and theme coordinate with this year's American Girl doll of the year, which is a nice accidental tie-in. (We don't have the doll, but kids are well aware of this breaking news in the toy world.) 4Fun for the inner bakerGame is a ton of fun, fosters creativity and enthusiasm,and was a blast for my kids to play only issue was that the measuring stick broke easily though you can still use it to play the game. Easy directions and fun. 5Fun and light hearted gameThis is a fun game to play with my daughters (from younger elementary to middle school...and I would venture to say beyond as I enjoy it as well). Also makes a nice birthday gift (since it is cake themed). The pieces are thick and sturdy cardboard and the options and variety of the cakes are quite extensive. Sometimes we make random looking cakes and sometimes my children like to challenge themselves a little more and make a certain "pattern" or "themed" cake. 5
