    My son loves it!My 12 year old son, who also loves Catan and Chess, learned to play this at a friend's house and persisted for a couple of months of reminding me about it until we got around to ordering him his own set. It's a little complicated to follow initially, I thought (I'm more of an UNO/Clue/don't have to think about it too much gal), but if you have someone to walk you through it at first, it can be kind of fun. After a couple of times, I had the hang or it enough to beat my son at it - there's enough going on, luck, strategy, ability to predict correctly, etc. that you don't have to rely on pure strategy alone. My husband seems to enjoy it, too. The game seems to have German origins, so instead of W for Wizard and J for Jester, it's Z for Zauberer and N for Narr, which is a bit unfortunate, because it makes the N and Z cards a little closer in appearance that my brain likes. Think it's a good option to round out a game-loving family's collection. Wonderfully portable, too.
