    Great entertainment while enjoying a tubbyGreat bath toy and it's Dora a fave with my granddaughter. Loads of fun and it keeps them occupied while you are scrubbing them clean. 4Cute but not functionalWe bought this Dora and Boots set at Walmart for $8 Dec 2005. It's so cute but not very functional. We assumed this was a bath toy and that's exactly what my 2 year old thought too. Dora's head fills up with water and after fighting to get her head off to empty it, we found that there was no hole to empty the water out of....how water gets in it is beyond me! She is top heavy to begin with but once water gets in it's hard to get her to stand up on her own. And her head dented from what we believe is the water pressure that has built up in there. Boots is also head-heavy so he usually ends upside-down in the water. His innertube is a squirter which is fun but it fills up and makes him unable to float like he should. My daughter loved playing with them for maybe 3 days. Now they just float around unnoticed in the bath. 2Great bath toy for little ones that love Dora and friends...Got this last Christmas for my 2 year old daughter as she loves Dora and needed some decent bath toys. I actually purchased the Dora and Twins version, not Dora and Boots so I can't comment on the color changing and Dora does not have a life vest. It's always a guessing game when you buy toys online, but I was very surprised to see how big these actually were. As many other reviewers have said the Twins on the inner tube are top heavy so they don't float very well. My daughter doesn't seem to mind as she usually is making them swim with her hands and loves that they can squirt water. I noticed a lot of reviewers stated that there is a mold problem with the squirter but I've had this 11 months and it's used maybe 3 times a week and have had no signs of this yet. I do only use them in the bath tub and clean them after each use so maybe that is why. Dora's head is pretty big and heavy but I actually liked that aspect. I have not noticed any water getting stuck in her head. Some minor leaking after each use, but you kinda expect that with bath toys. The flippers are actually pretty good fitting on her feet and don't fall off easily (One is missing because my daughter lost it but doesn't effect her liking the toy). Since she loves this so much, I'm considering buying the Dora Mermaid bath toy and hoping she has the same love for it as she does this. The picture of the box suggests that there is an enclosed dvd with instructions, but I did not receive this nor did the packaging from Amazon state that it came with one. 4DORA AND TWINSIT WAS ON TIME AND GREAT TOY TO TAKE A BATH .... MY GRAND DAUGHTER JUST LOVE IT ... NOW SHE WANTS TO TAKE LONGER BATHS... 5Nice toy...it came from Amazon with a Kohl's price tag...Bought this as a gift for a little over twenty one bucks. Was amused when the box arrived from Amazon. The clear plastic on the toy's packaging was a little banged up, and it had a nice price tag from Kohls reading ninteen ninety five. I guess I paid a couple of extra bucks for the convenience, but the least they could have done was removed the price tag :). Overall happy with the transaction. 4My 3 yr old loves it but.....Granted that my 3 year old loves this toy, I have to say that the life jacket (that you can take on and off) is IMPOSSIBLE for a 3 or 5 year old to take off and on...it is a tight fit and you have to wrestle it on and off, moving Dora's arms up and down to wedge it on or off....what were they thinking?Other then that, the Dora doll is well made.....The Boots part is nice too but it would have been nice if Boots had been made standing like Dora....makes it more "playable"..Boots always having to be floating in the innertube kinda dampers the many scenarios a 3 yr old could make up....half of the time she stands him on his feet so poor Boots is always hunched over carting an innertube on his back!All in all, I'd say it is a good toy for the bath and beyond.....with some small faults that wouldn't keep me from recommending it..... 4very pleased with purchaseItem just as described, fast shipping, very pleased with purchase. She loves "Splash Around Dora and Twins" and can't wait to take a bath so she can play with Dora and the twins. 5Splash Around Dora Big Bath Time Fun!Grandma bought this bath time toy for my daughters, a preschooler and a toddler. They are avid Dora the Explorer fans. I prefer this bath time toy to the Floating Island Adventure set, which we also own. Both Dora and Boots are large and easy to handle. My daughter can easily remove and put on Dora's flippers. The bright yellow design on her life jacket changes to orange when immersed in the bath water. While Boots does not have any removable parts, his inner tube has a hole in one side. I had fun surprising my daughters with this squirting monkey. I can squeeze excess water from the inner tube to dry it out after the bath to prevent mildew build up. 4bathtub funAll kids like bathtub toys. This one holds up really well. One granddaughter had one and the other wanted one for Christmas. The twins in the swim ring will hold water and are hard to drain. 5
