Customer Reviews

Love this Pop and Effie really stands outLove this Pop and Effie really stands out. I feel like Funko has really done her eccentric character justice. The only complaint is that even with her stand she is a bit difficult to keep up right. Very top heavy, but then again, Effie always was :) 5So cute!Effie is a really cute funko pop. I think they did a really good job of representing her. Good addition to your Hunger Games collection. Only problem is her feet are so tiny, being on her stand is difficult. Still highly recommend getting her. Thanks for offering her. 4It's Effie!!I'm not a huge fan of the series, but I did like Effie Trinket, and her Pop is great. She is adorable and the detail is great, even down to her painted nails and toes! 5... as a gift for my mother and she really liked it.Got this as a gift for my mother and she really liked it. 5I love Effie, so adding her to my bookcase was ...I love Effie, so adding her to my bookcase was a treat! The only negative thing I can think of, which I've seen not everyone is experiencing, is that she's a bit hard to balance on her high heels. I have her leaning up against some books, though, and she hasn't fallen over. 5Stylish EffieEffie Trinket is fabulous with her larger than life flower head piece. She comes with a small clear circle stand to keep her from tipping over. One can barely notice the stand when she is displayed. I would love for them to make one of her with the butterfly outfit. Happy shopping. 5Don t use footstand.I love this character! I was super excited to buy this and showcase it, however it comes with a little stand you push into her foot and after time (less than a year) it has stretched itself out and now she can t stand up right. Kind of ticked. 2Adorable with great detailsEffie looks awesome and the details are on this Funko pop are spot on. Thankfully Effie comes with a small clear circle stand to help keep her upright. I noticed other reviewers mentioned that she tips over frequently. I am wondering if these reviewers could have possibly overlooked the stand she comes with? It took me a year to realize my Jessica Rabbit came with a stand, but I sure was happy when I discovered she did! Granted, even with her stand, Effie is still very top heavy. She may lean a little from time to time, but I don't have issues with her falling over. 5Three StarsShe is adorable don't get me wrong...but she can't stand on her on and it's really fustrading 3Effie the literal trinket?Soon as I saw the (evilly cute) Snow one, I knew there'd be a Hunger Games set, which would definitely have to include Effie. And that I'd definitely need to bring her home. So glad I did! She's adorable. The texture of her light pink wig and flower reminds me of icing. She's got her blonde eyebrows, little earrings, and a really nice replica of her raspberry-colored suit from the beginning of the first film. I love the details--including the loose curls hanging down from the back center of the wig, the texturing of her clothes, and the finger- and toenail dots (better on the right hand and left foot, but they appear able to "scrape" off/lighten for no reason*...at least I was prepared for the seemingly inevitable painting imperfections. I take it these things get handpainted.) I had a feeling that with her giant head and tiny body, she'd probably have trouble standing on her own...and sure enough, she requires support. It's okay, Eff. Not your fault. Something rattles inside her head; probably a piece of plastic...and her skin is rosier than the white makeup she had on with this outfit, but still very pale, which is accurate.*Just tried to replace vanished toenail polish with a fine-tip purple marker. Meh. Tempted to dock a star for stuff like this, but can't bring myself to do so just yet. I mean, the body parts *are* almost impossibly tiny.Series 2 had better include Haymitch (and Finnick, Johanna, etc., while you're at it.) How could they leave off the fourth member of the T.E.A.M.?! :[ Effie and I want a little Haymitch! Or a lotta Haymitch. ;] I mean, if you absolutely needed four different Katnisses at once, why not do them as a set of minis? Speaking of which, a set of mini Effies would be brilliant as well. I had no idea how they were possibly going to be able to choose a single Effie look to mold (knocking out only the blue Catching Fire dress that her Barbie form wears); turns out they went with the first one we saw. :)The constant toppling must be a common problem with Funkos, though, right? I understand that they're cute and the most popular collectibles around, but for several reasons didn't start racking them up. I've been an avid collector of so many kinds of toys and things since childhood that I simply couldn't dare. I looked at the super-stylized Funko style and determined that I prefer more realistic things. Then I thought, "They're kinda big, with those heads spacing them apart. It would make far more sense to have them all come in the mini pocket size. Where would you even put them? They'll never stand up due to the top-heavy design, and just be domino-like dust collectors...right? Plus, they're made for virtually every character, so surely there are dozens you really like, but it's just unreasonable." Seems the serious collectors work around the issues by keeping them stacked in their also-cute boxes. But I've wound up with a pocket Elsa from Frozen and a Vinyl Scratch (DJ Pon-3) from My Little Pony, too. They're charming, well-made, and recognizable knick-knacks for sure...so, I'm sure others will prove irresistible for me in the future. ;p 5
