    very difficultBought this as a christmas gift for someone who is for lack of a better description, a music buff. We always liked the regular catch phrase real well and figured since we have a fairly vast knowledge of music that this would be even more perfect than the original...boy were we wrong!!! This game is so very complicated it will leave you speechless. example-sat down with 8 people who pride themselves in loving all kinds of music, very knowledgible of all styles of music past and present, the ages of people were from 23-60. We were at a huge loss, played for about 20 minutes and not only did we as a group, find it very difficult to give clues but also couldnt even as a group come up with clues, answers or even a good start. So very disappointing, I cant even begin to tell you, this is not nearly the game that the original is...not even close. 2Never heard of a lot of these songs in any ...Never heard of a lot of these songs in any of the categories, and we had players from all different ages and who listened to may types of music. 2One Starproduct came used with corrosion on the batteries (that were still in the game). 1not a very fun gamei love the regular version of this which i have as well, we are avid game players and this game is just not fun to us or our friends. that is just our opinion, others may like it, we just dont. i know i should say why more specificly but it is hard to explain. it just does not play like the regular game. you would think it is like the other one but it seems like the way to play it is guess this song and you have to try and sing the song they tell you on the screen but you cant use the title words...of which you just read... and now that is the only part of the song that is stuck in your head... like i said just my opinion. so we dont care for this one. i would not buy again. 2Great addition to the original, but needs more phrasesNot as good as the original; it has fewer phrases to get through. But overall its a great addition if you have the original as well - it functions the same way and had the same draw; inevitably everyone ends up joining in the fun even if they initially didn't want to play games. 4Classic!Great for holidays with family and friends. 4not a kids toyI bought this as a gift after many years of enjoying regular catchpharse. Its a great party game. But I think the 12 and up age is too young. I think (or thought) my friends and I are pretty knowledgeable in music... especially 80s music, but there are a lot of songs on the game we had never heard of. Its still a blast especially if you know the song and can sing some lyrics. You find out a lot of times you know a song but can only sing the title.
