    Magnetic fridge lettersThese are great little letters! They are very bright and they stick to the fridge very well! I would recommend sticking to the age requirements on the packaging though. My son was a little too young when we purchased them and we have spent a lot of time tell him to take them out of his mouth. I would recommend them for a older child that is past the "everything in the mouth" phase. 4Lots of Options!! Lots of Fun!Okay, yes these are a little smaller than I had hoped for, but that is not that big of a deal. These are a ton of fun for all ages. They come in a great little bucket that makes storage easy and makes it easy to keep up with all the pieces. I originally ordered this for use with a young child just learning her letters and sight words, but I quickly learned that these are for older kids, too! We have enjoyed using them on a magnetic white board to play jumbo scrabble. The kids really enjoyed building words and playing a scrabble based game on a huge board with these colorful letters. We also have used them in spelling by placing a long spelling word on the board with these magnets, but mixing the letters up. Then, the kids have to rearrange the letters into the correct spelling. There are so many options that make this set worth the money. You can really use them for a lot of years with kids of all ages if you use your imagination! 5Only so-soI bought these for my 2 year old nephew to play with at my house. The letters slide down the fridge on their own. The actual magnet on the back of the letters is quite small, and doesn't hold bigger letters (such as the M or W) because there is one tiny magnet on one side of all the letters. My nephew doesn't care that they slide, but I don't want them all on the floor or under the fridge. Size-wise, they are small-ish, about 1" high. The colors are bright. 3Nice set....except for letter "M"This set of magnetic letters is colorful and comes in a nice container with a handle that can easily be carried around by a toddler. All the letters stay in place on the refrigerator door, except for letter "M," that continuously slides down because of the positioning of the magnet. Interestingly enough, there is no problem with "W," it's inverse. The problem occurs with all the "M's" in the set. Aside from this, it's a nice set and a good value. 4Fun way to develop early readingEasy to open, easy for 2-3 year olds to read and handle. This is the perfect gift for children who are learning "ABC's" and early phonetic sounds. I keep them on a magnetic board by the TV and when our grandchildren are watching Word World (PBS and available DVDs), they find the letters to make the same words with the TV characters. What a fun way to develop an early reader! 5Magnet letters.I bought these magnetic letters for my granddaughter who is two. Her parents were not happy with them. They were small enough that they thought she might put one in her mouth and choke on it. The magnets were so small that the letters fell off the refrigerator too easily. They were not successful for a two year old. But we have them put aside. Maybe when she is older we can use them on a cooky sheet. 1Entertains for hours. Great for fine motor skills.From the packaging to the letters inside, the entire package has been a great toy for my son over the last 2 months. At 12 months he was dumping and replacing the letters into the plastic container. Now at 14 months he is putting the magnetized letters onto the refrigerator as well as screwing the lid on and off of the container. This is a great 1st birthday gift. 5Adequate amount of letters, color variety left a lot to be desired, magnets weak on some lettersThere is an adequate amount per letters (details on that below), however, in a lot of instances, all of the letters are one color. I have all green Fs, all yellow Gs, all red Hs, etc. In most cases, only the vowels have a variety of colors.The number per letters I received in my set are below:A - 9B - 3C - 3D - 3E - 6F - 3G - 3H - 3I - 6J - 3K - 3*L - 6M - 3*N - 3O - 6P - 3Q - 3*R - 6S - 5T - 6U - 6V - 3W - 3*X - 3Y - 2Z - 3Letters marked with * denotes those letters had magnet strength issues.These letters are approximately 1.25" high. The description already says these are not for toddlers, so make sure you listen to that warning. 3Lots of fun, but magnets need work and color variety could be betterThe day I bought these magnets, I immediately had my daughter help me put them on the fridge. She can't spell yet, but she understands that they're letters and she has a blast with these. There are plenty of letters, so it's easy to spell lots of different words. I only have a few complaints:- As other reviewers have stated, the magnets are a little weak. The M's in particular don't always stay well--we have to get them at the perfect angle so they won't slide down.- Even with multiples of many common letters, those multiples are only of one or two colors. It'd be nice, for instance, if all the E's weren't green and red, but rather one of each color since there are 5 of them. Not a big deal, but it would still be nice. 4Not very magneticI think that these were magnetized by running each finished letter over a piece of silk a few times. They will surely stick to other magnets, but unless your refrigerator is magnetized, I'm afraid these are jar full of floor letters. 2
