    Strong HandsIt was just what I wanted and expected. Carries extremely well through microphones. 4Good shakerPretty good for this money! 4Coarse and hard to play balancedThis shaker is big and heavy. This is not for studio play, but more for live performance. The sounds is coarse and powerful and is really hard to get it smooth/soft. It is more challenging to play this as well because of the size, if you are playing it horizontally, you have to be very careful not to tilt it too much on one side since you will lose the balance since the beads are all over the places and the sound tone will change. You have to play it hard and loud. The construction is sturdy and it actually looks good. So there you go. Depending on what you want, this may be good for you. If you are looking for a softer sound, for studio setting, looks elsewhere. 3nice!play this one handed and you've got a great shaker sound! 5Five Starssounds great 5Large for Live; Small for RecordingNice size, good especially for live music, as they are heavy and loud. I prefer the smaller model for recording.The large do take some time to get used to; both are well made, but the large is heavy and loud.Drummers will love them, but those of us who are using them to add to acoustic sound may find themedium or small more useful. You can do many things with it while dancing.I love this thing because it s not a rattle which gets my fuzzy kids really interested because mine all have feathers. It s not a wood shaker which has a tendency to leak pellets all over the place over time. This thing you can shake the world out of it! I mean you can serious beat this thing up and it keeps right on working! We danced with it! We accidentally dropped it and no harm came to it!The sound is pleasant regardless of how hard or much you shake it! It s the right size for my hand as a guy and my partner had no issue with it as a woman. The plus is you can grip it with two hands without issue to shake it! The other nice part is you can juggle it or flip it in the air catching it easily enough. Again I really enjoy this instrument! 5I bought the smaller version of this and really like the sound of that one moreI bought the smaller version of this and really like the sound of that one more. I bought this one hoping it would be louder. It is a little louder but the sound is not as crisp. Really just personal preference. 3
