Little ExplorerMy 5 year old loves this gift. She loves to learn about different countries and languages and this globe is the perfect intro to how the world actually looks, distance, oceans, etc 5FunReceived the first one which didn t work, returned and received the 2 Nd one with no issues. My granddaughter is learning where countries are, loves the music. One thing I wished it had more places to travel to. This would be perfect for 2-4 yo. I see my granddaughter losing interest in it soon due to the minimal places. But would definitely purchase for younger kids. 4Works pretty well but the map is lacking.Fun toy that works fairly well. My 4 year old has a hard time controlling the stick and globe and uses his hands to move the pointer that way. The map does not have much detail in terms of showing countries in Europe or really any states in the US! Kind of hard for younger kids to use properly. 3Broke after 1 day!Very flimsy toy! My kids have played with it once and now it makes a weird clicking sound when you spin the world to the right. Would not recommend this toy for anyone. 1Save your moneyThe concept of this toy is wonderful but you have to line up the glass of the airplane with each item extremely precisely or it says, try again. I m 27 and can t do it so my 5 year old certainly can t. He gets frustrated with it and quits, thus he has learned nothing. My kids love playing with this and it is so educational! The different modes are great as you can learn about music from different cultures, geography, and , language. The only thing I didn t like was the battery compartment cover broke off so be careful with that little plastic tab to open and close it. 5Fun but malfunctioned by the 3rd day of playI bought this for my preschool class of 4 and 5yr olds. It was fun the first day. The joystick doesn t have enough resistance so it is hard to control the airplane and get it exactly on the spot you want. The kids really didn t seem to care that much though. The reason why I gave it only 3 stars is because by the 3rd day it stopped to the right. It makes a clicking sound and won t turn. It gets frustrating because when they pass the spot they want because it went a little too far they have to go all the way around again. I would have given it 5 stars had it not stopped working right by the 3rd day. I read all of the comments on several interactive globes before buying this one. It had the least complaints. I didn t read any other comments with my particular problem so maybe I just got a lemon. I didn t expect it to last forever in a preschool class but disappointed it broke by the third day. The children are still enjoying it so I guess that s a plus. The price is definitely worth the product if it holds up. 2
