A good, hard puzzleI bought this as a present for our smart 7th grader. Together with my wife and another daughter, they labored over that periodically over several weeks time. It is not an easy puzzle. 5Four Starsgood puzzle for a challenge but some of the pieces were damaged. 4well made puzzle and very challenging!!This is a wonderfully made puzzle and it is very challenging!! I really didn't think so at first and then my husband started it and He said that it was quite the puzzle!!! Thanks for making a puzzle like this available!!! We look forward to the others that we have purchased from this same company that I have already put away for Christmas this year!!! 5Nice puzzle but ....I have no problem with the image of the puzzle. It is beautifully designed and drawn. My beef is with the condition the puzzle was in when we received it and put it together. We had ordered a NEW puzzle. Yet, as we put it together, we noticed that several of the pieces were a bit bent and frayed. And we also found that a piece was missing. This is the second puzzle we have bought from White Mountain and we have been disappointed both times with the condition the puzzles were in. It almost seems as if these were used or second-quality puzzles. Unfortunately, we bought both White Mountain puzzles at the same time, so we were twice bitten. 3Not the finest quality claimed on the boxNot the finest quality claimed on the box.The box and listing says this is the finest quality and has thicker pieces. The truth is there were bent pieces, several with peeling backs and many not cut completely from one another. I have bought two puzzles from the same manufacturer with the same quality claim. I thought one box was an anomaly. They were both the same. Maybe I'm just a little spoiled, having also purchased some from Ravensburger that not only had none of those problems, but also a more semi-matte finish, which makes it easier to see the details in darker areas of the puzzle. 3Well-made and satisfying puzzleFun and challenging (but not TOO challenging) puzzle. My family and I are "cat people" so this was a fun one for us. Pieces are thick and well-cut. Some puzzles I've found have too similar piece shapes where you can't tell if the piece REALLY fits or not, but this one's not like that.The thing we liked best about the design was it was very satisfying to put together -- no large sections of a single color that take forever, and the individual cat portraits around the edge make it easy to put a few pieces in and actually accomplish something "Look, I finished the British one!"Which is great if you work on puzzles a few minutes here and there like we do. 5Love it!Bought this for my daughter who made and framed it!! Love it!! 5Fun puzzle.I love puzzles and this was fun. The picture on the box shows clear detail. I had to use a magnifying glass to read the names of the cats. It's a beautiful puzzle, interesting. Delivery was timely and service was efficient. Thank you. We also got the dog puzzle that was great too. 5Challenges the brainPicked this up when I haven't done a puzzle since I was a kid. I wanted something to spend time on during a long vacation rather than sitting and watching tv. 1000 pieces is a long and large puzzle and it took over the dining room table in our vacation villa. Took us 4 days with at min 2 hours a day but probably much more. It was fun matching the cats up as the pieces fit together, getting the names down etc. We had one spare piece so hopefully there's not another puzzle missing a piece, that's the worst. 4Great puzzle but one tiny piece missingI had a lot of fun putting this puzzle together. That is, until I got to the end and discovered one tiny piece missing. That missing piece ruins the puzzle for me. And this was one I had planned to put together again in the future. Not anymore. Too bad. 2
